-Make sure material is on site so crews can work.
-Draft up a contract for material or subcontractors.
-Go inspect the product.
-Track down schedule dates.
-Determine if project is making or losing money.

Field Engineers see so many aspects of a project. There are more details that go into the role. One thing to remember is, a field engineer gets in the field.
